After eleven remarkable days, Wavelengths Festival 2026 has come to a close.

What began as an ambitious idea became an inspiring celebration of dance, performance, film and participation across Folkestone. Together we presented an exhibition, talks, screenings, workshops, live performances and a family day of dance, bringing together artists, audiences and communities of all ages in theatres, galleries, public spaces and along the shoreline.

This festival simply would not have happened without the extraordinary generosity, creativity and belief of everyone involved. Our heartfelt thanks go to every artist, performer, filmmaker, workshop leader, volunteer, venue, partner and audience member who helped make Wavelengths such a welcoming, generous and joyful experience.

Despite the challenges along the way, the spirit of collaboration never wavered. The support we received reminded us why festivals like this matter: they bring people together, create new opportunities and strengthen the cultural life of our town.
